Photo Studio Lights

PHOTO GUIDELINES

 If taking a new picture:-
Make sure camera lens is clean and dust free- might sound simple but it can affect a pictures quality massively.
Make sure the subject is in good even lighting. If the subject is outside then take a few because the lighting affects the picture massively and the colour for your pet will come out horribly wrong.
As still as possible. Might sound easier said than done but the stiller the subject can be the better.
Try to capture there personality.
Try to get the subjects best angles! Too high or low can create distorted pictures.
Try not to cut pieces off. For example ears, noses etc in the picture.
If the piece is an eye piece please don’t use flashes as this will hurt your pet. If the picture is of great quality then I can crop and zoom to get what is needed.
There is no rush. If you book I will give you a rough date to start your piece (unless it is needed before a certain date) if your pet is having an off day please do not panic. We can work around these issues.

If the pet has sadly passed or you are wanting one from a photo that has been previously taken I can again do this but the results may not be as good as a clear image. Again these will be discussed at the time of booking.
I can work within most guidelines but please remember that bad photo will affect the quality of the piece I create. This doesn’t mean to say that I can not do it, it will be harder to do.
I do share photo updates with customers and over on my social media. This will be with your consent. I can keep you updated with my progress but again that depends on what you like. If you are not happy with something please do tell me straight away as although mistakes can happen I do have some room for error fixing. If the piece is completed and you do not like it for any reason I can offer to re draw it. A digital version (watermarked) will be sent over on completion.
